So, have you heard this new Glassjaw song, “You Think You’re John (Fucking) Lennon”? It’s a delightfully brutal, relentlessly intense distillation of the band’s sound, a three-minute long statement of purpose from a band long presumed dead. I liked it so much that I wrote a blog post about it for PopMatters. Highly recommended for fans of hardcore, post-hardcore, metal-core or just about anything with a “core” in it (apples excepted).
